How to adopt

Rescue Dog Charlie Charlie is a 3 1/2 year old retriever mix. He is very smart and loves other dogs and playtime. Charlie is currently undergoing treatments for hip dysplasia. He is looking for someone who is willing to keep up treatments and care for his weary hips for the duration of his life. He loves walks and a comfy couch at the end of a long day. Charlie would probably be best in a home without small children.

Rescue dog Louie Louie is a 4 year old Shepherd mix. Louie is very scared by strangers and reacts to new people aggressively. Once he knows you he is a ball of love. His high strung nature needs to be matched by someone with a strong knowledge of fear aggression issues.

Rescue Dog Tina Tina is a sweet small husky mix. She does get nervous without other dogs around but is confident and loving when she has a dog friend. We are highly recommending another dog in the household for this little one.

Rescue Dog Franklin Franklin is a 3-4 year old catahoula mix. This happy go lucky guy is excited about everything in life. He gets along with most dogs and is crate trained. Franklin has some hip issues and takes pain medication when they are bothering him.
Brando is a 3 and 1/2 year old Pitbull Great Dane mix. Brando has a bite history so is looking for a home that can keep up with his diligent training needs. When he knows you and trust you he is very sweet and loving. Brando gets along with some female dogs only.
rescue dog Captain Tuff is a 10 plus year old boxer. Tuff loves other dogs and attention but has bitten when in foster care. Tuff needs to be handled with caution but for the most part is very sweet. He is on medication for seizures and lymphoma.

Rescue Dog Maggie Maggie is a sweet younger pit mix. Although she is not good with big groups of dogs she does well with one on one interactions. She LOVES people attention and to run and hike. She would love a forever home that understands her needs and has lots of love to give!

Rescue Dog Toby Missy is an 11 year old heeler/corgi mix and Puppy is an 8 year old long hair chihuahua. Both are sweet, gentle and good with other dogs. They have spent all their lives together and are very attached to one another therefore must find a home together.

Rescue Dog Maggie Bradley is a 4 year old pitbull. Since losing his home Bradley gets confused with new strangers and needs diligent training to keep him from acting out. Bradley is good with some big dogs but cannot be with small dogs. He is very sweet with people once he knows them well.
Rescue Dog Bella Bella is a 7 year old heeler lab mix. This sweet smaller girl gets along great with other dogs, people and cats. She is crate trained and great off leash. Bella is looking for an active family that can give her lots of exercise and love.

Many people wonder how our adoption process works. If you see a dog you think you might like to meet please give us a call at 970-349-5047 and set up an appointment to meet your potential new pet. Oh Be Dogful is a very busy place and we want to be able to help and give the time you need for this meeting. If after you meet a foster animal and decide you might want to adopt you can then fill out an adoption application and take the animal on a trial to make sure they work for all family members 2 and 4 legged alike. If the fit is just perfect we will have you return to sign their adoption contract to make it official. Adoption fees are $50 for dogs and $25 for cats.
