Oh Be Dogful Rescue is a small non profit that fosters homeless animals until they can find their perfect forever homes, or some cases, live out their lives happily here at the ranch with us. Our mission is to provide safe and nurturing sanctuary for homeless animals while providing superior end of life care for senior animals and connecting adoptable animals with families in need of the healing benefits of animal companionship – with loyalty, compassion, accountability and stability.
How to adopt
Charlie is a 3 1/2 year old retriever mix. He is very smart and loves other dogs and playtime. Charlie is currently undergoing treatments for hip dysplasia. He is looking for someone who is willing to keep up treatments and care for his weary hips for the duration of his life. He loves walks and a comfy couch at the end of a long day. Charlie would probably be best in a home without small children.
Louie is a 4 year old Shepherd mix. Louie is very scared by strangers and reacts to new people aggressively. Once he knows you he is a ball of love. His high strung nature needs to be matched by someone with a strong knowledge of fear aggression issues.
Tina is a sweet small husky mix. She does get nervous without other dogs around but is confident and loving when she has a dog friend. We are highly recommending another dog in the household for this little one.

Maggie is a sweet younger pit mix. Although she is not good with big groups of dogs she does well with one on one interactions. She LOVES people attention and to run and hike. She would love a forever home that understands her needs and has lots of love to give!

Many people wonder how our adoption process works. If you see a dog you think you might like to meet please give us a call at 970-349-5047 and set up an appointment to meet your potential new pet. Oh Be Dogful is a very busy place and we want to be able to help and give the time you need for this meeting. If after you meet a foster animal and decide you might want to adopt you can then fill out an adoption application and take the animal on a trial to make sure they work for all family members 2 and 4 legged alike. If the fit is just perfect we will have you return to sign their adoption contract to make it official. Adoption fees are $50 for dogs and $25 for cats.
